Steven TylerThe group was a part of Boston's club circuit . They were advised by Frank Connelly their first manager. The band then began to work with Steve Leber, David Krebs, New York managers. The band's debut album, called "Eponymous", was released in the year 1973. They got a recording contract in 1972. It was followed in 1973 by Get Your Wings. Toys in the Attic. Rocks. and Draw the Line. These albums helped Aerosmith become famous internationally. These albums brought legendary hits such as "Dream on", Walk This Way, "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way". Aerosmith's first five albums sold multi-platinum. Toys in the Attic and Rocks were also multi-platinum. But as the decade progressed the fast-paced lifestyle of performing, recording, living together, and using substances began to take its toll on the band. Because of their famed use of heroin and stimulants, Tyler and Perry were known as the Toxic Twins. Aerosmith Behind the Music and numerous video recordings of Aerosmith showcase their relationship. Tyler appeared more committed to Aerosmith and resent Perry for her passive behavior. Perry was also jealous of his preference for women in his life. Aerosmith was in decline in the 1980s due to tensions between Perry and Tyler.
