Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater and Communications. When she moved to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting and choreographing for more than two dozen musicals and plays such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title roles in LA's award winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing films and TV roles when she learned improvisation, and later became an Theatre West company member. A unique combination of her voice with her small stature enabled Kelly to come up with a diverse range of colorful characters. She's best known as Naomi Watts's scheming Samara from The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the charming receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly played a part in a regular Series on TV Land's The Exes which she was an ex-party-goer and a paralegal throughout the day. As well as being an Regular for the sitcom ABC Romantically Challenged where she was the charming sassy younger sibling to Alyssa Miano. She also played the suburban mother stressed in CW No Tomorrow. She's lent her singing soprano to numerous animated films such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she has appeared as the lovable, dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. The couple has two young kids and has a peaceful home. She enjoys writing, sew and volunteer at school.
